SMAG (Slávia Modern Art Gallery) is a collection gallery whose task is to fulfill the expectations of the professional and lay public. The goal of the gallery is its development and enrichment of the permanent exhibition with new works of art. The exhibition area with an area of almost 170 m² offers space for the presentation of works of the domestic art scene, especially young Slovak artists who are successful at home and abroad.

The gallery is the place of creation of a new discussion and interpretation platform for artists and the public. It not only has a lucrative location in the heart of the city of Košice, but also offers a non-traditional atmosphere, which is enhanced by the art nouveau building and the historical context of the place. In contrast, the gallery itself is a modern place that combines past and present.
